3. Three promises This is my own story, in my own words. I didn't use AI to write it. I'm 18 or older. I've read and agree to the Contributor Agreement. I keep the rights to my story and can ask for it to be taken down.

Before you send

No politics. No preaching or attacking a religion.
Don't name or identify a private person.
Read it once for anything that could identify you: a street, an employer, a detail only you would know.
Language is fine when it's how you talk. Not for its own sake.
Writing about suicide or self-harm? Your story is welcome. Leave out how.

What happens next

A person reads every piece. You'll hear back one of three ways: published as written, sent back with the reason so you can change it yourself, or declined with the rule it crossed.
